The Warehouse Helper position plays a key role in supporting this success by ensuring fast and accurate movement of products to all store locations.


Position Overview

The Warehouse Helper supports day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, this role ensures the smooth flow of inventory while maintaining accuracy, safety, and organization within the warehouse.


Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inbound Tasks

  • Assist in unloading deliveries from suppliers.
  • Check and verify quantities and report discrepancies.
  • Label, sort, and store items in designated areas.
  • Ensure all receiving documentation is correctly completed.

Picking, Packing & Outbound Operations

  • Pick items accurately based on store or online orders.
  • Pack goods securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Assist with staging, loading, and dispatching shipments.
  • Support timely stock replenishment for retail outlets.

Inventory Control

  • Participate in daily/weekly/monthly/annual inventory checks.
  • Maintain stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles.
  • Report shortages, damages, and excess stock to supervisors.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in all storage areas.

Warehouse Safety & Housekeeping

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys safely.
  • Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Report hazards and contribute to a safe working environment.

Support to Warehouse Supervisor

  • Carry out assigned operational tasks.
  • Assist in space organization and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain teamwork and a positive work attitude.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school certificate or equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail
  • Basic understanding of warehouse procedures
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions
  • Physically fit, reliable, and punctual
