Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
As a Cargo Handling Supervisor, your duties will include:
Operational Management
- Plan and supervise daily cargo handling operations across terminals, ramps, and hubs.
- Ensure operational targets are achieved, including cargo space utilization and on-time task completion.
- Coordinate task allocation and ensure smooth shift handovers in a 24/7 environment.
Safety & Compliance
- Conduct safety risk assessments and recommend actions to eliminate operational hazards.
- Develop and deliver safety awareness programs across network stations and service partners.
- Ensure full compliance with international aviation safety regulations.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain safety dashboards and analyze operational trends.
- Prepare weekly and daily reports on performance and safety activities.
- Verify invoices and support budget-related documentation.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Safety Specialists to close safety-related tasks and address non-compliance issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Education & Experience
- Minimum 12 years of schooling or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in cargo or safety roles.
Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of aviation safety, cargo handling operations, and industry procedures.
- Familiarity with Dangerous Goods Regulations, Live Animal Transport, GDP compliance, and ULD management.
- Experience in analyzing safety incidents and preparing preventive action plans.
- Skilled in load planning, cargo rating, and inventory management systems.
Additional Requirements
- UAE driving license (preferred).
- Advanced cargo handling or safety management training (advantage).
