Position: Warehouse Team Leader – Dubai
JINGDONG is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join its Dubai operations. This role is ideal for candidates who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to take on leadership responsibilities within a fast-paced logistics environment.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Team Leader will ensure smooth, safe, and efficient warehouse operations while motivating and guiding a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise warehouse operatives in daily tasks: receiving, picking, packing, sorting, and dispatching.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Allocate tasks and monitor progress to meet shift targets.
- Track team performance and report updates to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Troubleshoot issues in operations or escalate when needed.
- Oversee warehouse equipment use and provide basic troubleshooting.
- Train new staff in processes, equipment handling, and best practices.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and order in work areas.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–3 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Prior supervisory or team leader experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and safety practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team motivation skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts.
