Role Overview

The Team Leader Cargo will be responsible for managing daily cargo operations at Zayed International Airport, ensuring that all processes meet Etihad’s high standards of safety, service quality, and efficiency.
This role demands strong leadership, operational excellence, and a proactive approach to maintaining seamless cargo handling for Etihad Airways and partner airlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, and monitor all cargo handling activities to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company regulations.
• Motivate and guide staff, fostering teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
• Track and analyze operational metrics to meet KPIs for quality, safety, and productivity.
• Conduct regular briefings, maintain accurate records, and ensure proper documentation.
• Oversee smooth coordination for guest baggage and cargo connections.
• Report and resolve safety or service-related issues promptly in line with company policy.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Secondary / High School certificate (minimum).
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in cargo or aviation operations.
• License: Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory for airside operations).

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are key to succeeding in this position.
