Position: Storekeeper – Lexus, Al Ain
Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a skilled Storekeeper to join its Lexus division in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the workshop store by efficiently managing tools, consumables, and spare parts. The role also involves providing vital administrative assistance to the Workshop Manager and supporting the daily operational workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the procurement of workshop materials, tools, consumables, and equipment.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for quality and quantity accuracy.
- Issue materials, monitor usage, and ensure proper documentation of returns.
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist in conducting inventory audits.
- Support the Workshop Manager with attendance tracking and administrative duties.
- Ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards within the store area.
- Identify obsolete or unused stock and coordinate appropriate disposal measures.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory or stock management, preferably in an automotive workshop.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
- Trade certificate or diploma in automotive studies, with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong collaboration skills to work effectively with technicians, controllers, and workshop supervisors.
