Job Purpose
The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing logistics and warehouse operations. The role involves close coordination with maintenance and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate handling of materials in compliance with standard operating procedures. It combines hands-on warehouse work with administrative and coordination duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily warehouse operations in areas such as Goods Receiving, Tool Stores, Main Stores, Line Maintenance Stores, Outstation Support, and Spares Distribution.
- Receive and inspect materials, verify documentation, and archive airworthiness certifications.
- Manage the check-in/check-out of tools to efficiently support maintenance staff.
- Supervise and coordinate Warehouse & Logistics Assistants to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Update systems and process inventory transactions to maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure smooth communication throughout the supply chain, from receiving to dispatch.
- Maintain agreed service levels by ensuring timely material flow and delivery.
- Comply with safety standards to prevent workplace incidents.
- Assist the Shift Duty Officer in daily performance reports and resource allocation.
- Act as a deputy to the Shift Duty Officer when required, ensuring operational continuity.
This position requires a proactive individual with a strong attention to detail, operational awareness, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering or a related operational role.
- Vocational training / Diploma (12+2 or equivalent).
- Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally within aviation or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul).
- At least 1 year of team coordination experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse/ERP inventory systems.
- A valid UAE driver’s license or Airside Driving Permit (ADP) is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work day/night shifts and 12-hour rotations as per operational needs.
