Job Purpose

The Cashier will be responsible for handling a wide range of financial transactions—including cash handling, cheque processing, remittances, and foreign currency exchange—with accuracy, speed, and full compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.


Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service Excellence

  • Greet customers professionally and thank them after service.
  • Serve both retail and commercial customers following ARIE service standards.
  • Clearly explain transaction rules, required documentation, and compliance guidelines.
  • Promote available ARIE products and services.
  • Reduce customer waiting times and continuously improve transaction efficiency.
  • Guide customers to relevant departments for specialized services.

2. Financial & Sales Performance

  • Maintain strong profit margins during transactions.
  • Support cross-selling and help convert customers into IntroCard members.
  • Contribute to increasing footfall, transactions, and overall revenue.

3. Transaction Accuracy & Compliance

  • Handle foreign currency exchanges and remittances with zero errors.
  • Follow cash-handling and cash-balancing procedures strictly.
  • Report any cash variances to supervisors immediately.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to AML, KYC, and compliance policies.
  • Complete all documentation correctly and within deadlines.
  • Suggest process enhancements to improve operational productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cashier or Teller.
  • Experience managing high cash volumes is an added advantage.

Skills

  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Good numerical and analytical capability.
