Role Overview
The Late Shift Driver will join the Embassy’s Transport Team, ensuring safe, reliable, and professional driving services for embassy staff, official visitors, and delegations. The role requires maintaining embassy vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and assisting with minor administrative duties.
🕒 Shift Timing: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (with flexibility for additional hours)
📍 Location: British Embassy, Abu Dhabi
📅 Contract Duration: 1 Year (extendable)
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport embassy officials, delegations, and VIP guests to various destinations.
- Conduct daily checks on vehicle fluids, tyres, and battery, and ensure timely maintenance.
- Keep vehicles clean and in excellent condition at all times.
- Maintain accurate trip, fuel, and maintenance records.
- Uphold professional dress and conduct standards during duty.
- Remain flexible for additional driving assignments or shift changes when needed.
- Provide assistance to other embassy departments when required.
Required Behaviours
Candidates should demonstrate:

Eligibility Criteria
- Must reside in the UAE with a valid residence visa and Emirates ID.
- Hold a clean, valid UAE driving licence.
- Ability to obtain a UAE police clearance certificate.
- Proficiency in English (spoken & written).
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience in an Embassy or Diplomatic Mission.
- Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi and UAE routes.
- Basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical knowledge.
- Understanding of Health & Safety standards.
- Arabic language skills (preferred).
Salary & Benefits
💰 Monthly Salary: AED 6,852
📆 Working Hours: 40 hours per week (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
🌴 Annual Leave: 25 days (pro-rata)
